01

One God

We believe that there is one God who eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections

02

The Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is inerrant in its original manuscripts, and authoritative in its entirety.

03

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man, that He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried. The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

04

Created in his image

We believe that human beings were created in the image and after the likeness of God, but fell into sin through disobedience. The penalty of sin is death, which all human beings are subject to. Furthermore, all human beings since this fall are born with a sinful nature and are alienated from God. As a result, all human beings are in need of salvation, forgiveness of sin, and reconciliation to God.

05

Jesus is the way

We believe that owing to this universal depravity and death in sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God through their own good works or righteous deeds. No degree of reformation, however great, no attainment in morality however high, no humanitarian works, however useful, no baptism or other ordinance however administered, can save a person from sin. A new nature imparted from above – a new life implanted by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God, is absolutely essential to salvation,

06

Redemption through the Blood

We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made to be sin, and made a curse for us, dying in our place; and that no repentance, no feeling, no faith, and no good resolutions or sincere efforts can add in the very least to the value of that precious blood, or to the merit of that finished work accomplished for us by Jesus Christ.

07

Faith Alone

We believe that Christ is received by faith alone, and that the moment we trust in Him as our Savior from sin, we pass out of death into everlasting life, being justified from all things, accepted before the Father based on the merits of Jesus Christ. Salvation from sin is based solely upon the grace of God, and not in any sense according to any good works we might do.

08

The Church

We believe that the church is composed of all who are united by the Holy Spirit to the risen and ascended Son of God, through faith in Jesus Christ. This includes both Jews and Gentiles, and men and women. The church is the body of Christ in this world.

09

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the giver of life who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He is a Divine Person, the source and power of all acceptable worship and service. He is our abiding Comforter and Helper, and never takes His departure from the church, nor from the feeblest of believers, but is ever present to testify of Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers Christians for works of service, fills believers, and distributes various spiritual gifts to believers.

10

Eternal Destiny

We believe in the eternal torment and misery of those who have rejected the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, and the eternal bliss and joy of those who have received the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Those who reject the free gift of eternal life must suffer eternally for their sins, while those who accept the free gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ are free from all condemnation, for Christ has taken their punishment.

11

Christ’s Return

We believe in the personal and bodily return of Jesus Christ to resurrect those who have died believing in Him, to transform and catch up believers who are alive at His return to Himself, and to establish His kingdom upon this earth. In conjunction with Christ’s Second Coming to this earth, Israel will be saved and restored as a nation, and the Abrahamic Covenant will be fulfilled. Christ, the rightful heir to David’s throne, will set up His Messianic Kingdom in the city of Jerusalem, and reign in peace over this world for 1,000 years, after which God will create a new heaven, and a new earth, “where righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13).
